UPCOMING EVENTS RIDES: July 5th Cinque or Swim Ride Leader: Phillip Pyefinch Last Man: Mick Jessup This ride will be about 60-65 miles through some of the prettiest countryside in Kent and Sussex. A large proportion of the journey is via country lanes, with a mid-way stop for a coffee and comfort break. The ride terminates at Rye, one of the famous Cinque Ports, where you can explore the cobbled streets of this ancient town. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants to provide sustenance, and interesting antique shops and second-hand bookstores in which to browse. Visit the Mermaid Inn, one of the oldest pubs in England, or climb up to St Mary's Church for fantastic views over Romney Marsh and out to sea. The ride will be leaving Warr's at Mottingham at 10am, so please arrive by 9.30am for the ride briefing. SOCIAL: Third Thursday of every month at the Queens Head in Chislehurst, from 7.30pm.
