We've got all kinds of rides and events lined up for 2026. From days out to trips abroad and UK bound adventures - we've got something for all riders, experienced or just beginning....

2026Events

Season Starter Rideout

Wear the Fox Hat, Sunday 5th April

..... No name Street, Lynsore Bottom, Lewd Lane, Slutshole, Pratts Bottom (what is it about Bottoms being a location?) not to mention Squeeze Gut Alley (dont ask!) just a few of the bizarre places dotted around the Southeast.
Join us for a refreshing start to the riding season and get shot of those winter blues with a smile on your face, especially as we ride past Cock, Cackle and wave at one lucky rider wholl be marking a junction at Dumb Womans Lane. !
This first of our 2026 Meridian Rides is a relaxing affair, designed to be a warmup for the rest of our escapades and blow away a few cobwebs. Departing from Greenwich Park Pavillion the ride will be about 70 miles and end up at Rye, a favourite with bikers at the Strand Quay. Sitting where the English Channel is at its narrowest, Rye was an important trading port in the Middle Ages when it was a fully functioning harbour before it became separated from the sea in Tudor times by gradual silting from the encroaching marshlands.
Its location also meant it was often the first port of call for intruders sailing across from the continent. Seems we had issues with church bells being stolen by them, but we got them back after a raid. Anyway
Theres a comfort stop, the location some might consider it worthy of note as it was home to Odo, Bishop of Bayeux. Odo is one of the characters named several times in the Bayeux Tapestry. Odo and William the Bastard had the same mother.
Those with bijou tanks will be catered for en route.

So dear rider I look forward to seeing you all for a briefing at 9:30am (no brief no ride) and depart at 10am with a full tank. Current Chapter membership cardand Chapter vests (Meridian or C&F) are obligatory.

Bernie Cresswell, Meridian Road Captain.

The start point for all Meridian H.O.G rides is at the Woolfe Memorial, Greenwich Park,SE10 8XJ,adjacent to the Royal Observatory.Facilitiesthere includetoilets and refreshments at The Pavillion. Exact start times are announced nearer the event dateby the organising Road Captain.

A current Meridian H.O.Gor Chelsea & Fulham H.O.G membership card and Chapter vest (Meridian or C&F) arerequired to take part in ALL Chapter events.

Accommodation in the area is of course plentiful and varied, though on receipt of your ticket we will let you know about our recommendedchoice of Hotel.

From past experience we know that most riders will take a week out for this event though some make it a longer biking holiday, perhaps combining it with the preceding week's H.O.G event in Portoroz, a long days ride via Italy and along the coast to Provence.

So what areyou waiting for?
