An epic 15,000 km relay tour through 13 countries in support of aid organisation Two Wheels For Life
Starting at Warr's Harley-Davidson Friday 21 st May 2021
The Great Relay ’21 is a classic relay, but of epic proportions. The relay starts in London and each successive H.O.G. chapter will ride the Pan America through Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland. Wales, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland & Ireland.
Each stage is an open ride-out where everyone can join. Starting point is always the local Harley-Davidson® dealer. Each dealership’s H.O.G. chapter sets out a great route that ends at the next H-D dealer. After more than 14 weeks, 90 dealers, 90 chapters, 15,000 kilometres travelled, the Pan America™ ends its journey to the very tip of Norway to end in Copenhagen. From there the bike travels back to the UK and Ireland.
Support for The Great Relay ’21 is by monetary donation from the participating 90 Harley-Davidson dealers and H.O.G. chapters, fellow international H.O.G. Chapters, Harley-Davidson owners and fans. Special prizes will be awarded to H.O.G. Fundraising Teams and individual H.O.G. members with stand-out fundraising totals in support of Two Wheels For Life
Two Wheels For Life… We are fortunate that motorcyclists can ride for pleasure and that healthcare is always close by. In other countries, healthcare is a lot more difficult to reach. There, a motorcycle is not a luxury, but of vital importance. That is why The Great Relay ’21 supports the aid organisation Two Wheels For Life. Since 1989 they have been using motorcycles in African countries as a means of transport for healthcare. On their motorbikes, they educate and vaccinate communities, transport medicines and vaccines, support local doctors and provide more or better access to healthcare for as many as 47 million people. They also play a large role in the current Covid-19 pandemic.
