I have recently murdered out a 2015 Road Glide at Warr’s (King’s Road) and am writing to tell you what an outstanding service I received, particularly from one of your employees, John Towns (Kings Rd After Sales Manager).
I had previously been speaking to a couple of other dealerships about making some substantial changes to my bike and had requested an itemised quote and suggestions for how to approach it from a budgetary point of view. One had taken nearly six weeks and the other seemed a bit overwhelmed with the complexity.
John replied to my request within 48hours with a full cost breakdown, which amounted to less than I expected, which is always a surprise when dealing with Harley-Davidon : )
What I was really after was honesty and knowledge. And speed, as I wanted to do all the work over the winter months.
Over the following few weeks, John offered (non-pushy) advice and regularly furnished me with pictures so I was fully involved in the progress.
Although my initial budget was circa £5-6K, I ended up spending over £8K, all due to the honesty of the conversation and the quality of advice.
I now have the bike bike and it’s outstanding; just what I was after.
I know we’re all busy doing our jobs, but I thought it was right that I took time out to thank you and Warr’s for a wonderful service and to tell you how impressed I was with John; an employee who is a credit your company.
I bought my first bike at Warr’s 20 years ago (a lovely green and silver Softail Nostalgia) and it seems I have now come full circle : ) I look forward to staying with you for the foreseeable future.
