Sunday 14th September - Arundel Castle

Our next ride out on Sunday 14th of September will take us all the way to beautiful Arundel Castle. The route will be across five counties, and we will be riding on a mixture of roads. Starting in Greenwich Park in Greater London we will be riding through Kent then Surrey, East Sussex, ending in West Sussex, with our final destination being the car park just outside the magnificent Arundel Castle.

Just about halfway through we will be having our comfort stop at Pease Pottage services, where smaller tanks can be filled up and where we can have beverages of our choice.

The destination itself offers a lot, you can stroll through the historic town centre where a number of cafes, restaurants and similar businesses offer a good selection for hungry and thirsty riders. Or if you want to make a day out of if it, you can visit the castle, stroll through the tranquil grounds where you will discover inspiring gardens. There are nearly 1,000 years of history for you to discover in this great castle and its glorious gardens, with magnificent views over the Sussex countryside and the river Arun. Plenty of choices in this beautiful town.

The ride briefing will be at 9.30am sharp. With a 9.45am swift departure from the park.
