Exactly 100 years ago on the 28th of April 1921 a Harley-Davidson ridden by D.H. Davidson at Brooklands became the first motorcycle to officially break the 100mph barrier on British soil. Featured here in The Telegraph on 29th April 2021.

To help commemorate this historic occasion the motorcycle team at Brooklands museum invited John Warr to bring his ultra rare 1914 C10 Harley down to the track for a photo-shoot and a tryout on what's left of the Railway Straight.

John's stunning Edwardian machine didn't disappoint and ran as good as it looks.
